Newsleader – 11.15 ഓടെയാണ് ഭൗതിക ദേഹം സംസ്‌കാര ചടങ്ങുകള്‍ക്കായി ഐവര്‍ മഠത്തിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ട് പോയത്. ആര്‍എസ്എസ് സര്‍സംഘചാലക് ഡോ. മോഹന്‍ ഭാഗവത്, ഗവര്‍ണര്‍മാരായ ആരിഫ് മുഹമ്മദ് ഖാന്‍, പി എസ്ശ്രീധരന്‍ പിള്ള, സി വി ആനന്ദ ബോസ്, സംവിധായകന്‍ മേജര്‍ രവി തുടങ്ങി നിരവധി പ്രമുഖര്‍ സംസ്‌കാര ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി പ്രഹ്ലാദ ജോഷി അന്ത്യോപചാരം അര്‍പ്പിച്ചു.
