Newsleader – മേല്‍ക്കൂര നിര്‍മ്മാണം,ഫ്ലോറിങ്ങ് , പെയിന്റിങ്ങ്, ജനലുകളും വാതിലുകളും സ്ഥാപിയ്ക്കല്‍ എന്നിവ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്ന ഈ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിയുടെ നിര്‍വ്വഹണ ചുമതല പുരാവസ്തുവകുപ്പ് എഞ്ചിനിയറിങ്ങ് വിഭാഗത്തിനാണ്. ട്രാംവേ മ്യൂസിയം സജ്ജീകരിയ്ക്കുന്ന രണ്ടാം ഘട്ട പ്രവര്‍ത്തികളുടെ നിര്‍വ്വഹണ ചുമതല കേരള മ്യൂസിയത്തിനാണ്. ജലസേചന വകുപ്പിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലായിരുന്ന 50 സെന്റ് സ്ഥലം കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷമാണ് ട്രാംവേ മ്യൂസിയം സജീകരണത്തിനായി പുരാവസ്തു വകുപ്പിന് കൈമാറി ലഭിച്ചത്. റയില്‍വേ സ്റ്റേഷന്‍ റോഡില്‍ ചാലക്കുടി ഐ.ടി.ഐക്ക് സമീപത്തെ പി.ഡബ്ല്യു.ഡി മെക്കാനിക്കല്‍ എന്‍ജിനീയറിങ് വര്‍ക്ക് ഷോപ്പിലാണ് ട്രാംവെ മ്യൂസിയം നിര്‍മിക്കുന്നത്.
