Newsleader – ഏകദേശം 1500 പേരുള്ള ക്ളബില്‍ പാര്‍ലമെന്റ് എം പിമാര്‍, കോടതി ജഡ്ജികള്‍, സിനിമാനടന്മാര്‍, ബിസിനസുകാര്‍ എന്നിവരാണ് കൂടുതല്‍ അംഗങ്ങളും. ചാള്‍സ് രാജാവും ക്ളബിലെ അംഗമാണെന്ന പ്രചാരണങ്ങളുണ്ട്. ക്ളബ് ആരംഭിച്ചതുമുതല്‍ വനിതകള്‍ക്ക് അംഗത്വം നല്‍കിയിരുന്നില്ല. അടുത്തിടെവരെ സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്ക് അതിഥികളായി പോലും ഇവിടേയ്ക്ക് ക്ഷണമില്ലായിരുന്നു. നിലവില്‍ ക്ഷണിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്ക് വ്യത്യസ്ത പ്രവേശന വാതിലുകളും ഇരിപ്പിടങ്ങളുമാണ് നല്‍കുന്നത്. ക്ളബില്‍ സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്ക് പ്രവേശനം നല്‍കുന്നതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വോട്ടെടുപ്പില്‍ 60 ശതമാനം പേര്‍ അനുകൂലമായി വോട്ട് ചെയ്തു.
