Newsleader – ആദായ നികുതി വകുപ്പിന്റെയും റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് നടപടി. കേസില്‍ സീരിയസ് ഫ്രോഡ് ഇന്‍വെസ്റ്റിഗേഷന്‍ ഓഫീസ് (എസ്എഫ്ഐഒ) അന്വേഷണം നടക്കുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് ഇഡിയും കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളത്. എസ്എഫ്ഐഒ അന്വേഷണം നേരിടുന്നവരെല്ലാം ഇഡി കേസിന്റെയും അന്വേഷണ പരിധിയില്‍ വരും. ഇഡി ഇക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ പ്രാഥമിക അന്വേഷണം നടത്തിയിരുന്നു. തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് ഇസിഐആര്‍ റജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്ത് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
