Newsleader – സുധാകരന് പുറമേ മോന്‍സണ്‍ മാവുങ്കലും യൂത്ത് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തകന്‍ എബിന്‍ ഏബ്രഹാമുമാണ് പ്രതികള്‍. പരാതിക്കാരില്‍ നിന്ന് മോന്‍സണ്‍ മാവുങ്കല്‍ 25 ലക്ഷം രൂപ വാങ്ങിയെന്നും ഇതില്‍ 10 ലക്ഷം രൂപ സുധാകരന് കൈമാറിയെന്നുമാണ് ക്രൈംബ്രാഞ്ചിന്റെ കണ്ടെത്തല്‍. നേരത്തെ കളമശേരിയിലെ ക്രൈംബ്രാഞ്ച് ഓഫീസില്‍ വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തി സുധാകരനെ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. കേസില്‍ തനിക്ക് പങ്കില്ലെന്ന നിലപാടിലാണ് സുധാകരന്‍. സുധാകരന്റെ അറസ്റ്റ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയെങ്കിലും കോടതി മുന്‍കൂര്‍ ജാമ്യം അനുവദിച്ചതിനാല്‍ ക്രൈംബ്രാഞ്ചിന് വിട്ടയക്കേണ്ടിവന്നിരുന്നു
