Newsleader – പ്രതിയുടെ മാനസിക നില സംബന്ധിച്ച റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് സമര്‍പ്പിക്കാന്‍ കോടതി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. ഏതെങ്കിലും തരത്തിലുള്ള മാനസിക പരിവര്‍ത്തനത്തിന് സാധ്യതയുള്ള വ്യക്തിയാണോ എന്നും കോടതി ചോദിച്ചു. ഒരു തരത്തിലുള്ള മാനസിക പ്രശ്നവും ഇല്ലെന്നും പ്രാസിക്യൂഷന്‍ എതിര്‍വാദം ഉന്നയിച്ചു. പ്രതി ജയിലില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ 100 ദിവസവും യാതൊരു കുറ്റബോധവും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ലെന്നും സമാനതകളില്ലാത്ത ക്രൂരതയാണ് ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതെന്നും പ്രോസിക്യൂഷന്‍ വാദിച്ചു. ഇത് തെളിയിക്കുന്ന ജയില്‍ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ഹാജരാക്കാമെന്നും പ്രോസിക്യൂഷന്‍ കോടതിയില്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
