Newsleader – തൃശൂരില്‍ മഹിളാസമ്മേളനത്തോനടനുബന്ധിച്ച റോഡ് ഷോയില്‍ ജീപ്പില്‍ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിക്കു തൊട്ടരികെ സുരേഷ്ഗോപിക്കു ഇടം നല്‍കിയിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ സമ്മേളനത്തില്‍ സുരേഷ്ഗോപിയുടെ സ്ഥാനാര്‍ത്ഥിത്വം പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുമെന്നു പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കിലും ഒരു വാക്കുപോലും മോദി അന്നു മിണ്ടിയില്ല. തൃശൂരില്‍ സുരേഷ്ഗോപിക്കുവേണ്ടി നേരത്തെ ചുമരെഴുത്തും നടത്തിയിരുന്നു. അധികം വൈകാതെ ബിജെപി സ്ഥാനാര്‍ഥികളുടെ ആദ്യപട്ടിക പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുമെന്നും അതില്‍ തൃശൂരില്‍ സുരേഷ്ഗോപിയുടെ പേരുണ്ടായിരിക്കുമെന്നാണ് ബിജെപി നേതാക്കള്‍ കരുതുന്നത്. കേരളത്തില്‍ ബിജെപി ഏറെ പ്രതീക്ഷ വച്ചുപുലര്‍ത്തുന്ന എ ക്ലാസ് മണ്ഡലമാണ് തൃശൂര്‍.
