Newsleader – 2011ലെ നിയമസഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ 36,667 വോട്ടാണ് എല്‍ഡിഎഫിന് ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നത്. 2016ലെ തെരഞ്ഞടുപ്പില്‍ 44,505 വോട്ടാണ് ലഭിച്ചത് ജെയ്കിന് ലഭിച്ചത്. ഇത്തവണ 42,000ലധികം വോട്ട് നേടാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. സഹതാപം നല്ല രീതിയില്‍ ജനങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്നുണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇത്തവണ 42,000 വോട്ട് ലഭിച്ചത് എല്‍ഡിഎഫിന്റെ മികവുറ്റ രാഷ്ട്രീയപ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണെന്നും ഗോവിന്ദന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.ഈ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ഫലം താത്കാലികമായ പ്രതിഭാസമാണെന്നും പ്രധാനനേതാക്കള്‍ മരിച്ച എല്ലാ ഉപതെരഞ്ഞടുപ്പിലും ഇങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നു ഫലമെന്നും സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
