Newsleader – മുന് കേന്ദ്ര ഭക്ഷ്യമന്ത്രി കൂടിയായ പ്രൊഫ കെവി തോമസിന് പ്രതിമാസം ഒരു ലക്ഷം രൂപയാണ് സംസ്ഥാന സര്ക്കാര് ഓണറേറിയം നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഓണറേറിയത്തിന് പുറമെ മൂന്ന് സ്റ്റാഫുകളെയും ഒരു ഡ്രൈവറെയും ദില്ലിയില് പ്രൊഫ കെവി തോമസിനായി നിയമിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. കോണ്ഗ്രസ് വിട്ട് സിപിഎമ്മുമായി സഹകരിക്കുന്ന തോമസിന് 2023 ജനുവരി 18നാണ് ദില്ലിയിലെ കേരളത്തിന്റെ പ്രത്യേക പ്രതിനിധി സ്ഥാനം സംസ്ഥാന സര്ക്കാര് നല്കിയത്. നേരത്തെ ഓണറേറിയം അനുവദിച്ചത് വിവാദമായിരുന്നു. എന്നാലിത് വിവാദമാക്കേണ്ടെന്ന നിലപാടായിരുന്നു കെവി തോമസ് സ്വീകരിച്ചിരുന്നത്.
