Newsleader – വെള്ളായണിയിലെ കിരീടം പാലത്തെ ആദ്യ സിനിമാ ടൂറിസം കേന്ദ്രമാക്കി സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് സിനിമാ ടൂറിസം പദ്ധതിക്ക് തുടക്കമിടാന്‍ ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ്. പാലം വികസിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ 1.22 കോടിയുടെ ഭരണാനുമതി നല്‍കി. 18 മാസംകൊണ്ട് പാലം ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്ന പ്രദേശത്തെ ടൂറിസം കേന്ദ്രമാക്കുകയാണ് ലക്ഷ്യം. 1989ല്‍ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ ചിത്രമായ കിരീടത്തിലൂടെ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ പാലം പിന്നീട് ‘കിരീടം പാലം’ എന്നാണ് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. നിരവധിപ്പേര്‍ പാലം സന്ദര്‍ശിക്കാന്‍ ദിവസേന എത്തുന്നുണ്ട
