Newsleader – ഇന്ത്യ തദ്ദേശീയമായി വികസിപ്പിച്ച പുനരുപയോഗം സാധ്യമായ ബഹിരാകാശ വിക്ഷേപണ വാഹനമാണ് പുഷ്പക്. പരീക്ഷണം നടത്തുന്നതിന് വ്യോമസേനയുടെ ചിനൂക് ഹെലികോപ്റ്ററില് 4.5 കിലോമീറ്റര് ഉയരത്തിലും ഇറങ്ങേണ്ട റണ്വേയില് നിന്ന് 4 കിലോമീറ്റര് ദൂരത്തിലും എത്തിച്ച ശേഷം വിട്ടയച്ചു. അവിടെ നിന്ന് 500 മീറ്റര് ദൂരം മാറി സഞ്ചരിച്ച് ആര്എല്വി റണ്വേയിലേക്ക് നേരിട്ട് ഇറങ്ങാവുന്ന ദിശയിലേക്കെത്തി. അടുത്ത ഘട്ടം ബഹിരാകാശത്തു പോയി മടങ്ങിയെത്തുന്ന വാഹനത്തെ ഭൂമിയിലിറക്കുന്ന പരീക്ഷണങ്ങളാണ്.
