Newsleader – വേനല്‍ മഴ കൂടുന്നതും കാലവര്‍ഷം കുറയുകയോ അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ദുര്‍ബലമാകുന്നതും പിന്നാലെ വേനല്‍ ശക്തമാകുന്നതുമാണ് പ്രവണത. ജനുവരി, ഫെബ്രുവരി മാസങ്ങളിലായി മഴയുടെ അളവില്‍ 178 % വര്‍ദ്ധനയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പിന്നീട് വിട്ടു നിന്ന മഴ മേയ് അവസാനം 87 ശതമാനം വര്‍ദ്ധിച്ചു.രണ്ടു വര്‍ഷം മുമ്പ് ആഗസ്റ്റ്, സെപ്തംബര്‍ മാസങ്ങളില്‍ ചൂട് കൂടി. ഡിസംബര്‍ അവസാനിക്കും മുന്‍പ് കുടിവെള്ള ക്ഷാമം രൂക്ഷമായി. നിലവിലെ സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ മാസാവസാനം വരെ ചൂട് ഉയര്‍ന്നു നില്‍ക്കുമെന്നും ചില ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ 35 ഡിഗ്രി വരെ ഉയരാമെന്നുമാണ് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ്. ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥലങ്ങളില്‍ മഴയ്ക്കും സാദ്ധ്യതയുണ്ട്.
